About us

Kent Architecture Centre is an independent not-for-profit organisation which supports the delivery of sustainable and well designed developments across the South East, recognising that this is fundamental to the way we live.

Established in 1995, we have been situated in Chatham's Historic Dockyard since our inception.

The Centre's staff includes architects, town planners and urban designers, all of whom are passionate about achieving better design. We complement the core team with consultants and specialists in specific projects, with temporary staff and students from the local universities, and a number of secondees and volunteers. Our team works for a large number of local and regional clients in both the public and private sectors.
