Competitions
The Centre has experience in managing design competitions at international, regional and local levels for both private and public sector clients. This can involve open competitions, some of which are advertised throughout Europe, to competition between a limited number of designers selected through an interview process. For the larger competitons, the Centre would usually set up a competition management group to handle all aspects of the design competition from initial RIBA nominations and preparation of the design brief, through the administration and management of the processes leading up to the appointment of the successful architect to oversee the construction of the project.
